The Kent & Excel Partnership started in 2024 where they were looking for support with two key programmes to support them in enhancing the people managers and people leaders leadership skills. They were looking for a consistent global approach, but with flexibility and local needs addressed. Programmes where their beliefs and culture would be embedded and brought to life. We partnered with them to design two programmes to do exactly that.
The discovery and design phase was of upmost importance to ensure Excel felt like an extension of Kent. Excel invested time to get to know Kent, their beliefs, values and culture to embed into the programme. Once designed, the people leader programme was rolled out globally by three facilitators, delivering to the US, APAC, Middle East and Europe with great success.

Since becoming a new organisation 3 years ago, we’ve been standing up our suite of signature development programmes for our people at Kent, to support people leaders in doing their best and most awesome work, while breathing life into our Kent beliefs. Excel Communications were an obvious match for us on this from the start – their sense of fun, agility, and utter competence shone through, and felt like it aligned with what we were trying to do. And we were right!
Together we developed two programmes – well, I say together, but they took our brief and ran with it, engaging with stakeholders from throughout our organisation, without me having to worry much about it at all!

I loved that Excel coaches were happy to support our trainers in their development and learning, truly helping us to embed a learning culture at Kent.
