How often at exhibitions do we see stand teams catching up on emails, talking amongst themselves or with old friends? Sometimes a stand might be unmanned, or a team mill about drinking coffee and hoping that someone will talk to them.

Exhibitions are an excellent opportunity to engage with and influence the right customers. They also require a lot of investment and it’s the stand team who need to make the connections to make that investment pay. So how do you motivate your stand team to engage with customers, present themselves with confidence and maximise every opportunity?

Learning Outcomes

This workshop is best run in a classroom setting followed by a visit to the exhibition stand, and is designed to be highly practical and interactive. By the end of the programme participants will learn how to:

  • Engage with people and build rapport quickly
  • Use targeted questions to quickly build a meaningful conversation
  • Listen actively for key facts, meaning and needs
  • Present a solution in a way that makes sense to the other person
  • Offer help to gain a commitment to action
  • See their stand through the customer’s eyes
